Our client is a leading public affairs and political PR and communications agency in Bristol but also with offices in London and elsewhere in the UK.
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive / Account Manager to manage PR accounts across parties including local government, built environment, corporate PR comms associates and other stakeholders.
The role will suit someone who is an existing Senior Account Executive and looking for their next move up. Or an existing Account Manager. You will have existing experience in a B2B and public affairs agency OR be someone who has been working in house but with the same comms skills. Whatever, you should have a passion for B2B comms, excellent comms skills and political interest (and a political degree would be advantageous).
The role will include:
·Corporate comms creation and implementation
·Client/ stakeholder liaison and management across a range of communications activities and campaigns
·Stakeholder research and mapping
·Producing stakeholder /political content and collateral (so able to write and edit is a must)
·Responding to consultations
·Event management and support
·Report writing
·Providing general guidance and expertise across the wider client team
·Ensuring highest standards in all work
·Supporting the senior leadership team
·Using and developing political, media and business networks
·New business growth and research
·Writing and controlling all project scope, timing and budget proposals
·Understanding and manage budget and resource requirements to ensure profitability
·Managing and controlling invoicing and financial reconciliations
You will be:
·Someone with a passion for or experience of client service and stakeholder management with public/ built environment/ corporate comms/ political experience either at an agency or in-house role
·Capable of working into an appropriate level in public/ local and understanding of the ways of local government and devolved administrations
·Able to develop documents for political or public affairs campaigns
·Interested in or experienced in legislative and regulatory development and practice (level appropriate)
·Able to write and edit
·Confident, able to pick up the phone and have a can-do attitude.
